Arjun. Atagaon. Husband. Father. Stranger to himself.
A young man in a small village dreams of lives he has never lived. He thinks they are nightmares. They are something else. Arunachal is calling him home, and home is older than he knows.
His wife is pregnant when he leaves. His uncle is the only one who suspects what is happening. A stranger from the northeast crosses Arjun's path and forgives him for something Arjun does not yet remember doing. The forgiveness is a door.
The dreams keep showing him a sky over a steppe. A king in a marble corridor. A hunter with a wounded leg. He does not know any of these men. They know him.
The fight returns
in every generation.
But forgiveness can break it.
